Water is mankind’s life blood. Either we stand & advocate for its protection, EQUITABLE availability, appropriate use & rational preservation, or we’ll lose it. The additional challenge to water quantity is water quality.

Every liter of water which ends up in a bottle or garaphon goes into a home purified for human consumption. Water from the street is most often not fit to drink or cook with due to pathogens or heavy metals. Your Coke and Bonafont have been purified and replace what would come from the street. It is fear mongering that says that all that water is lost to the residents. If the water systems were repaired so that they didn’t leak so much, full pressure could be there continuously which keeps pathogens from being sucked into the water system. Then tap water would be drinkable and the companies that are taking water, purifying it, and selling it would need very much less water than they now use. Please look at the whole picture.

I live in La Paz, BCS and we have a water shortage here. Water comes on at a very slow trickle from 11 PM to 6 AM every other night where I live and often is so weak that it doesn’t get up to the tacos.

AS it is now AMLO, you are protecting “Whitemexicans” the Cartels and very soon the Chinese at the expense of your citizens of Mexico . . . AS FOR WATER CONSERVATION . . . just look to the north in California AND DO THE OPPOSITE . . .

Most locals would agree👍

Alas, Mexico’s culture is one of kicking the can down the road, and dealing with the problem when it becomes a crisis. I think that day is rapidly approaching.

This is business as usual in Mexico and every where else in the world.
