What a stupid reply! I guess you judge everyone on how they look rather than their personality and actions. The ambassador’s actions were totally out of order for a senior diplomat. In fact pointing a gun at any one in jest is totally unacceptable in a civilised society and has nothing to do with his beard or looks.

It’s a conscious decision to get one and I think it comes down to, “I’m going to be the biggest jerk I can be. Screw everyone else”. So, I doubt he’s only like that to his staff.
