Thank you Bethany. I worked out of Japan for ten years (did not live there), have many Japanese friends, and I speak a little of their very beautiful language. I have told my friend in Mexico many times that the culture of Japan, some of it, closely reminds me of Mexico. And I knew there was a large Japanese connection to Mexico City and I’ve stayed in the area your describe. But I wasn’t sure I was right about the similarities and I had no idea how the first contact occurred , I just new it was long ago. The one thing that surprises me is Japanese interest in Wrestling. The ‘sport’ is comprised of large ego entertainers yet the Japanese never sho their own…so maybe that’s why? Anyway, arigato gasoumas
